A few updates that I wanted to let everyone know- more information soon.
First off, I was placed into Level 2 Japanese. I just picked up my packets from Yoshida-sensee and will begin reviewing tonight before class tomorrow morning.
Second, my luggage finally arrived. I am in the middle of unpacking but at the same time not completely unpacking.
Third, and possibly the most exciting, I have been placed into a homestay family. It is an elderly couple who works regularly with foreign students and I am very excited to begin my latest adventure.
I'll write more tonight, I am about to leave with some friends to go grocery shopping and explore some more of Hikone!

awesome! i had four host families in japan, and i got a retired couple which was so much fun! i was apprehensive at first, but they were really adorable and understanding and they had so much time for me. miss ya!
